What do you want guests to know about you?

We are from Orange County, and we love going to Joshua Tree to escape our busy lives and stargaze into the night sky. We believe the desert out here is such a unique place and we love being able to share that experience with our guests.

Why did you choose this neighborhood?

For this property, we chose Western Hills Estates because pretty much the entire neighborhood was built into boulders! It is actually quite wild. Plus, the views of downtown Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree are absolutely stunning, especially at night.

What makes your property unique?

The property features eco-conscious finishes, from the lime plaster walls to a full built-in concrete couch made out of the rocks and sand from the wash right outside the property, allowing it to blend into the boulders that surround the property and the rugged desert terrain.

Property Rules

Hot Tub / Pool

- We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.

- To protect your own health, safety, and the integrity of tub and linens, and to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities, we kindly request all guests to rinse their feet, bodily oils, and lotions before entering the hot tub and pool area. Failure to do so may result in the accumulation of dirt, debris, and contaminants in the water, which can compromise the overall experience for all users.

- No pets of any kind or size in hot tub and pool.

- No glass or alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub and pool.

- Please do not stand or sit on hot tub or pool cover.

- Children must be supervised at all times.

- Please heat the hot tub with cover on and avoid the urge to add hot water from the stove, it will damage the hot tub.

- Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight.

- Please be advised that if the condition of the hot tub and pool is left in poor conditions due to guests not rinsing their body and feet, an additional fee may be charged for excessive dirtiness. This fee will cover the cost of the necessary cleaning and maintenance required to restore the hot tub and pool to its optimal condition.

- We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests. By adhering to this requirement, we can ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the benefits of our hot tub and pool facilities.

Sauna

- The infrared sauna is cleaned between each stay. Please use a towel to sit on when in the sauna. It will be OFF and depending on the outside temperature, may take up to 40 minutes to heat up to desired temperature.

- Use the sauna at your own risk. For adults 18+ only.

- Limit sessions to 15–20 minutes, stay hydrated, and do not use while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

- Do not sleep in or leave the sauna unattended. Always turn it off after use.

- The host is not responsible for any injuries due to improper use.

1950 Spartan Trailer

- This is a delicate vintage vehicle, so please be careful when using the space.

- While there is a bed, guests are not permitted to sleep here.

- Do not use the toilet/bathroom in the trailer, it is not attached to a septic tank.

- Do not use the stove or oven.
